Happy New Week, my Best Buddies!
I feel pretty well this morning - no sore muscles amazingly enough. Idiot Boxes averaged 160.8 lbs. this morning - probably from drinking over one gallon of water which is my daily target during summer.
RED PANTS alert! Zipped and buttoned and almost comfortable!!!!
BUMMER - our hot water heater is not working even though it is only two years old! I am boiling water right now to mix with the tepid water in the shower so I can get ready for work. Pain in the neck!
Current Goals: June 10th & July 8th *Idiot boxes consistently weigh 162.4 by June 10th *Bodyfat at 25% or less by June 10th or July 8th (last reading 25.56%) *Macros average: 65%-70% fat, 23-26% protein, 8%/9% or less carbs *NET carbs less than 20 grams daily *Lift heavier at gym – achieve new PR for weight or reps by July 8 *Continue HIIT during cardio work *Complete abdominal challenge at the gym – lose at least one inch: 33” *Wear the “red pants” comfortably by July 8
Long Range Goals: 2016 *Bodyfat at 24% or less *Maintain Idiot Box around 150-158lbs staying under goal weight for a while *Increased strength, endurance and flexibility

Great job there, and sorry about the water heater. Hate to say it, but buying and installing these days is expensive. We called Sears, and it was all total close to $1500 to $2000, with all the new excess piping and Cali regulations.

Our water heater IS new - about two years old so we are not replacing it, thank goodness. I think it is the temperature/pressure valve but we cannot fix it ourselves so need a plumber.

HCB -- sometimes it is the igniter that stops working. But at least it's likely to be under warranty still. Good luck

@Maine Coon - yes, the water heater is on warranty for parts and labor, too. We are still waiting for the plumber to come - likely Tuesday morning now.

OK - WATER HEATER that was only two years old was "defective" and the inner tank "degraded" - good news is they replaced it with a new one - but we end up paying "labor" of $365 - which we thought was included but of course the labor warranty was "expired"! Better than paying $1800, I suppose!

HCB that is interesting!! That explains why apartment complexes won't replace water heaters until they replace elements 3x or it leaks...Uggh , sorry about the labor cost :(

BTW - - congrats on the red pants. I don't have any equivalent at the moment. I am going to raid the closet in the basement over the summer to see what oldies but goodies are there to provide inspiration for the next 25 pounds. Sorry about the water heater -- I had a very similar experience several years ago. Got a new water heater for free, but had to pay labor. I think it's because the water heater warranty is from the mfg, but the labor warranty is from the installer. So agggravating.
