Today is the first day of the 12 week challenge. I am shooting for 40-50% complex carbs, 30-40% protein, and 30% fats or less all within under 1200 calories each day. It seems more than adequate now and hope I can continue to see the scale go down over time.
I started on April 1st and already have made some positive habits take root e.g, stopped diet soda and now drinking water, walking four to five times a week, and adding more fruits, veggies, and protein.
I planned to walk today but actually saw snow flurries this morning and it is cold! I have seven patients back to back today so it just may not happen.
