Fell off the wagon for more than a week. Expected to gain more weight. My body has been good to me.

Before falling off the wagon I was capping my calorie intake at under 1000 calories. There were days when I capped it under 800 calories. Initially I lost weight very quickly but then I started gaining weight. I couldn't understand this. I felt tired/drained. Then last weekend came and I just started eating and eating. My energy levels started picking up. I've read that if you eat too little calories, your body goes in starvation mode and instead of losing weight, you'll gain weight. Not sure how true this is though 🤷.

Today I start again and I'll cap my calories at 1500. Let's see how this goes.
