SPRING CUT - DAY 41
16 Hours Fasted

Super productive positive week on the family and business fronts. One of those times when you collect the dividends paid on effort exerted in a cold dark lonely invisible winter long past. Obscured unacknowledged effort, known only to you. A week when it seems as though everything is just going your way; and it is.

But not for nothing...

Read once that if you want to attract people to you, to your ideas, your business, your investment, your mission; that it is as simple as raising your energy level. A lot. We are all naturally drawn to those clearly on their purpose. We sense their potential future. Wanting a piece of it for ourselves, we climb on board. Six weeks ago, effectively without purpose, I decided to upgrade my family leadership.

Specifically, I decided to be the man I wish my sons to be. To STFU, and do. Cause at the end of the day, there is no leadership at all without leadership by example. Preachin', as is said, ain't teachin'.

This Cut is an essential component of the foundation of that effort.

Point is that, in the absence of any overt coercion, everybody else's game is up in Jimmie's crib. Kids are taking ownership of their academics and/or careers, they have leveled up their decision making, their performance, their relationships, their prospects, and their critical paths forward. Even Pop seems better.

In 40 days.

To be clear, I AM NOT claiming causality.

Also to be clear, I AM sticking with the program....

Last couple weeks my cut has flatlined. No excuses, but back to back 14 hour days are not particularly supportive of extended fasting. Pleased to find myself within half a pound of my cut low after 4 consecutive days of eating.

I am a complete shirt whore. A fine tailored 2 ply 120s dress shirt whore. In blue. Or check. Or blue check. Spread collar. Shirts so fine they make you want to sob with joy like Daisy in Gatsby.

Picked myself up a couple yesterday. Cause show yourself some love every now and then...
