I may need to have oatmeal for breakfast more often. Something motivated me today! I did my exercises, walked the steps down to the river & back, watered the gardens (that means pulling the hose all over), trimmed some lower branches off of a Red Tip tree & trimmed the browning leaves & flowers off of the lenten roses. I even suggested to Hubby we get our walk in a little early cause it's supposed to rain.

I realized that I got more steps in when I went shopping a couple of days ago than when I spent time gardening. That may because I'm stationary doing stuff even if I'm bending or lifting stuff.

Hubby brought me lunch this afternoon. He joined his friends for lunch today....first time in awhile. I had half of his Shrimp wrap & 2 onion rings. Perfect!

I need to jump in the shower before I start dinner.

We're having chicken breasts and I think I'll roast some corn on the cob & add that, some black beans & other assorted veggies to a salad.
