Just back from a 4 day business trip which threw me off completely. There were buffets 3 X a day plus morning and afternoon breaks set up with cookies, coffee cakes, treats galore. Also healthy stuff- fruit, yogurt, etc. I stuck to 3 meals per day and water/tea at breaks. Kept away from starchy carbs and sweets with success. Had a drink each night ( not on my plan) in the bar with friends. Only got up and walked outside one day- the others, it was pouring. So- what was "thrown off?" The daily drinking, and no exercise. Also, when I got home I "celebrated" with a big dinner (cauliflower crust pizza) and wine and ICE CREAM (Halo top) with chocolate chips and granola. Also, when i got home, I had a big bowl of cereal for lunch with peanut butter... at 2:30 PM.

Something about having "made it" through the trip without too many pitfalls made me lose it slightly when I got home. Huh?
